git&#039;s subfolder support is sometimes annoying, but git&#039;s storage efficiency is quite good, and sometimes a full git repo(with its whole history) can take less space than a single svn checkout of a svn repo&#039;s subdirectory.</description>

		<description>Cons of Git - you must clone entire repo, in &quot;classic&quot; version control systems (CVS, SVN) you can checkout a specific file/folder from repo. This is very annoying, especially when working with very big projects.</description>
